A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF IRBY CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE ANIMAL CONTROL
CENTER AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH IRBY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has requested
bids for the expansion of the Animal Control Center; and,
WHEREAS , on November 16, 1976, bids were opened
in the Deputy City Clerk' s office; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from the Irby
Construction Company of Wichita Falls, Texas, in the
amount of $11, 952 . 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of $11, 952. 00 from Irby Construction Com-
pany of Wichita Falls, Texas, for the expansion of the
Animal Control Center is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract with
Irby Construction Company ,on behalf of the City.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 23rd day of November,
1976.
