RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO BOWLES CONSTRUCTION
CO. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER LINES AND A
PUMP STATION FROM REILLY ROAD TO LOCKWOOD CORPORATION
PLANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for
bids for the construction of sanitary sewer lines and a
pump station adjacent to U. S. 277 and 281 Central Expressway
North from Reilly Road to Lockwood Corporation Plant; and,
WHEREAS, seven bids were received, and it is found that
the bid with Alternates B-1, B-2 and B-3 of Bowles Construction
Co. in the amount of $49,038. 83 is the lowest and best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT :
Said bid with Alternates B-1, B-2 and B-3 of Bowles
Construction Co. in the amount of $49,038. 83 is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
for the City of Wichita Falls a contract with Bowles
Construction Co. for the construction of such improvements.
