RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO STUCKEY CONSTRUCTION CO. ,
INC. FOR FURNISHING ALL MATERIALS AND LABOR FOR COLOR
COATING FIVE EXISTING TENNIS COURTS AT WEEKS PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for furnishing all materials and labor for color coating five
existing tennis courts at Weeks Park, and, as an alternative,
for furnishing all materials and supervision of City employees
applying the color coating; and,
WHEREAS, four bids were received, and it is found that
Stuckey Construction Co. , Inc. , who bid $6, 656.00 for furnishing
all materials and labor, is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of Stuckey Construction Co. , Inc. , in the amount
of $6, 656. 00 is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized
to execute for the City of Wichita Falls a contract with Stuckey
Construction Co. , Inc. , for furnishing all materials and labor for
color coating such tennis courts.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of February, 1976.
