AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE DATE OF THE FIRST REGULAR
MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN IN THE MONTH OF
OCTOBER, 1970 .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The first regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen in
the month of October, 1970, shall be held at 10 :00 o' clock A.M.
on the JW., day of October, 1970, instead of on the first Tuesday
in October, 1970.
The fact that the budget for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1970 needs to be adopted on the date set forth for such
meeting, creates an emergency, and this ordinance is declared an
emergency measure and shall become effective upon its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS the 15th day of September, 1970.
