AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF A CERTAIN
ALLEY SITUATED TN BLOCK 9, SINGLETON ADDITION,
SECTION 3.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, deem it advisable in the public interest to per-
mently abandon and release an alley herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That part of a 15 foot alley situated in
Block 9, Singleton Addition, Section 3, beginning at the north
right-of-way line of Southwest Parkway extending north between
Lots 9 and 10 to the southwest corner of Lot 11, turning north-
easterly between Lots 9 and 11, turning easterly between Lots 9
and 11 and ending at the west line of a dedicated 30 foot drainage
easement, be and the same is hereby permanently abandoned and
released.
SECTION 2. There is reserved on this strip an easement
for the prupose of maintaining water and sewer lines, gas lines,
telephone conduits and electric power lines and other utility easements .
SECTION 3. No building shall be built over said easements
unless and until satisfactory arrangements have been mode with the
Director of Public Utilities of the City of Wichita Falls with
reference to the maintenance and upkeep of the sewer and water
lines and with the other easement owners with reference to their
easements.
