Ord 2626 11/17/1970 ORDINANCE NO. 2626
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF ARCHER STREET
AND PORTIONS OF OTHER STREETS TO MIDWESTERN
PARKWAY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls believes that it is in the best interest of said city that
the names of portions of certain streets be changed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The names of the following portions of streets are
hereby changed so that such portions cf streets shall hereafter
be named Midwestern Parkway, to wit:
Archer Street from Kemp Boulevard to Hamilton
Boulevard;
Hamilton Boulevard from Archer Street to a point
300 feet south of the centerline of Hampstead Lane;
Hampstead Lane from a point 250 feet east of the
centerline of Hamilton Boulevard to Old Jacksboro
Highway.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS the 17th day of November, 1970.
