A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A JOINT STATISTICAL AGREEMENT WITH
THE BUREAU OF THE CENSUS AND TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH F. M. WEAVER ASSOCIATES.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to enter
into a Joint Statistical Agreement with the Bureau of the
Census to correct, update and evaluate (CUE) the GBF/DIME
file and the Metropolitan Map Series; and,
WHEREAS, this agreement requires twenty-five percent
25%) local funding which will be paid with in-kind services
and/or available Community Development funds; and,
WHEREAS, F. M. Weaver Associates has offered to contract
with the City for the work required under this agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a
Joint Statistical Agreement with the Bureau of the Census to
correct, update and evaluate (CUE) the GBF/DIME file and the
Metropolitan Map Series; and the City Manager is further
hereby authorized to enter into a contract with F. M. Weaver
Associates to perform the work required under this agreement.
The twenty-five percent (25%) local funding required under this
agreement will be paid with in-kind services and/or available
Community Development funds.
