RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF TENNIS COURTS AT LAMAR SCHOOL
Heretofore, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for
bids for the construction of tennis courts at Lamar School;
bids were received from five bidders, none of whom bid on
all items; and,
WHEREAS, the bid of Duke Concrete Construction Co.
in the amount of $16,718. 40 for concrete courts, and the bid
of Ace Fence Co. in the amount of $3 ,188. 64 for fencing
were the lowest responsible bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
Such bids of Duke Concrete Construction Co. and Ace
Fence Co. are hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute for the City of Wichii-a Falls a con-
tract with each of such bidders for the construction of the
improvements stated above.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 16th day of May, 1977.
