AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15-15 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, ADOPTING NFPA NO. 407
KNOWN AS "AIRCRAFT FUEL SERVICING 1970" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
Section 15-15 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Wichita Falls is hereby amended by adding a paragraph (c) which
shall read as follows:
" (c) There is hereby adopted by the Board of Aldermen
for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions
hazardous to life and property arising out of the servicing of
aircraft with fuel, that certain pamphlet known as NFPA No. 407,
"Aircraft Fuel Servicing 1970" published by the National Fire
Protection Association; three copies have been and now are filed
in the Office of the City Clerk, and the same is hereby adopted
and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein; the
provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits
of the City, and also within the boundaries of the Wichita Falls
Municipal Airport. Whenever the term "The Fire Prevention Code as
Adopted by Section 15-15" is used elsewhere in the codification of
ordinances, such term shall include this pamphlet."
