AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE OF THE
REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 21, 1971
AT FANNIN SCHOOL AT 7 :30 O'CLOCK P.M.
WHEREAS, Section 2-1 of the Code of Ordinances provides
(with one exception) that the regular meetings of the Board of Alder-
men shall be at 10:00 o' clock A.M. in the Council Chamber in the
Municipal Auditorium; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen desire to change the time
and place of the second regular meeting in September, 1971, which
will be on September 21, in order to enable and to encourage citizens
to attend a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2-1 of the Code
of Ordinances, the regular meeting of September 21, 1971 of the
Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls shall be held at
7 :30 o' clock P.M. in the Fannin School located at 710 Burkburnett
Road in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas. Except as changed herein,
the provisions of Section 2-1 of the Code of Ordinances shall remain
in full force and effect.
