ORDINANCE NO. lp 17
AN ORDINANCE CLOSIN, AND ABANDONING A FIFTEEN FOOT EASEMENT ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF LOT 4 OF A REPLAT OF A PART OF BLOCK 35, RANCHO VISTA
PLACE.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close the fifteen foot easement
on the south side of Lot 4 of a replat of a part of Block 35, Rancho Vista Place,
which replat has been filed in the plats records of the County Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The fifteen foot easement on the south side of Lot 4 of a
replat of a part of Block 35, Rancho Vista Place be and the same is hereby closed
and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The fact that the presence of the easement is detrimental
to the use of the lot for the construction of a proposed residential dwelling
pending the taking effect of this ordinance creates an urgent public necessity,
requiring that this ordinance be passed as an emergency measure, and this ordinance
is passed as an emergency measure and shall be in force and effect immediately
from and after its passage.
