RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF THE MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, ON APRIL 1 , 1978, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ELECTING THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN FOR POSITIONS
No. 4, No. 5 AND No. 6.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, held in the Memorial Auditorium Building on
the 3rd day of April , 1978, at which time a quorum was present, came on
to be considered the returns of the municipal election held on the 1st
day of April , 1978, for the purpose of electing the Mayor and Aldermen
for Positions No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6; and,
WHEREAS, after canvassing the returns of said election, it was
found to be duly and legally held in all respects, and that 6 ..1/
voters voted in said elections; and that
FOR MAYOR:
Herman A. Dunn received votes
W. E. "Dub" Ryle received ,719-Df votes
Kenneth Hill received 107.0 votes

FOR ALDERMAN, POSITION No. 4:
