RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF DUKE CONCRETE CONSTRUC-
TION CO. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A TENNIS COURT AND
BASKETBALL COURT AT LYNWOOD EAST PARK AND A
TENNIS COURT AT SCOTLAND PARK AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF SAME.
WHEREAS, on February 20, 1978 , at 10: 00 o' clock A. M.
bids were opened for construction of a tennis court and a
basketball court at Lynwood East Park and a tennis court
at Scotland Park; and,
WHEREAS, three bids were received for the construction
of the tennis courts and the basketball court; and,
WHEREAS, the bid of Duke Concrete Construction Co.
in the total amount of $25,614. 72 was the low bid for this pro-
ject.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Duke Concrete Construction Co. in the total
amount of $25, 614. 72 for the construction of a tennis court
and basketball court at Lynwood East Park and a tennis court
at Scotland Park is hereby accepted and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract with Duke Concrete Construction
Co. for the construction of this project for the total amount'
set out herein.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of March, 1978.
