RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONCESSION
OPERATION AT BRIDWELL PARK.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were invited on January 30, 1978
for concession operation at Bridwell Park, but no bids were
received for such operation; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. LaRue Daffern has offered to enter into
a concession contract at Bridwell Park for ten percent of the
gross sales, and the Board of Aldermen finds that this is a
reasonable offer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The offer of Mrs. LaRue Daffern for concession rights
at Bridwell Park is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract with her for such concession
rights during the 1978 season.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of February, 1978.
