RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO CON-
TRACT WITH RHODE PIPE COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES TO
GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION PLANT.
WHEREAS, heretofore the City entered into a contract
dated September 8 , 1977 with Rhode Pipe Company for construc-
tion of extension of sanitary sewer facilities to the General
Motors Corporation plant;and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to change the contract
to provide for an increase in the size of the main, which
will increase the amount of the contract by $23,229. 65.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 to such contract with Rhode Pipe
Company is hereby approved, and Joe C. Smith, Director of
Public Utilities, is hereby authorized to execute the same
for the City of Wichita Falls.
