RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT TO ZACK BURKETT
COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE III IMPROVE-
MENTS AT THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the con-
struction of certain improvements at Wichita Falls Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, two bids were received, and it is found that the low bid of
Zack Burkett Company in the amount of $140,095. 10 is the lowest and best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT :
Said bid of Zack Burkett Company in the amount of $140,095. 10 is
hereby accepted subject to the concurrence of the Federal Aviation Administration,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute for the City of Wichita Falls a
contract with Zack Burkett Company for the construction of such Airport improve-
ments.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS the 17th day of January 1978.
