RESOLUTION NO. 2027
RESOLUTION CONCERNING TRANSPORTATION OF WATER
INTO LAKE WICHITA AND MAINTENANCE OF LAKE WATER
LEVEL AT A CONSTANT ELEVATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City will participate with the United States Army
Corps of Engineers in the cost of installing an underground
pipe to carry water from the Call Field irrigation canal
to Holliday Creek upstream from Lake Wichita.
After the completion of such project, the City will
utilize this facility and operate Lake Wichita to the best
of its ability to maintain the water level in Lake Wichita
at a constant elevation of 976 feet m.s. l.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 27th day of October, 1977.
