RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF OPEX, INC.
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER FACILI-
TIES IN THE G. L. FRIBERG SUBDIVISION AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH OPEX, INC. FOR THIS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, on October 12 , 1977 , at 2 : 00 P. M. , bids were
opened for the construction of sanitary sewer lines in the
G. L. Friberg Subdivision to the City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, two bids on this project were received and
opened; and,
WHEREAS, Opex, Inc. submitted the low bid of $67 , 506. 00
for this project; and,
WHEREAS, Opex, Inc. is found to be a responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Opex, Inc. to construct sanitary sewer lines
in the G. L. Friberg Subdivision to the City of Wichita Falls
which was submitted on October 12, 1977, in the amount of
67 ,506. 00 is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Opex, Inc. for this
construction project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of October, 1977.
