RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF BOWLES CONSTRUC-
TION COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
SEWER LINES IN CITY VIEW HEIGHTS ADDITION AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH BOWLES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THIS PROJECT.
WHEREAS , on September 1, 1977 , at 10 :00 o'clock a. m. ,
bids were opened for construction of sanitary sewer lines
in the City View Heights Addition to the City of Wichita
Falls; and,
WHEREAS, three bids on this project were received; and,
WHEREAS, the bid of Bowles Construction Company submitted
the low bid of $171,953. 64 for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of Bowles Construction Company to construct
sanitary sewer lines in the City View Heights Addition to
the City of Wichita Falls which was submitted on September 1,
1977 , in the amount of $171,953. 64 is hereby accepted and
the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Bowles Construction Company for this construction pro-
ject incorporating the terms of the bids submitted on August
25, 1977.
