AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE NORTH-SOUTH DEAD END
ALLEY IN BLOCK 6 OF THE FLORAL HEIGHTS ADDITION
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to permanently close and abandon
an alley hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The North-South dead end alley in Block 6 of the Floral
Heights Addition adjacent to lots 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17 be and the same
is hereby permanently closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an
easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind and
character of utility lines including water, gas, electric, telephone and power
lines, sanitary and storm sewers and drainage ditches; no structures shall be
built on said easement.
SECTION 3. No building shall be built over said alley unless and
until satisfactory arrangements have been made with the Director of Public
Utilities of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas with reference to the main-
tenance and upkeep of the sewer and water lines and with the other easement
owners with reference to their easements. �J
