Ord 2723 7/18/1972 ORDINANCE NO. 0Z7,03 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI AVENUE BETWEEN BLOCKS E AND F OF THE JOSEPH A. KEMP'S ADDITION. WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it advisable and in the public interest to close that portion of Mississippi Avenue herein described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER''IEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. That portion of Mississippi Avenue lying between Block E and Block F of the Joseph A. Kemp's Addition be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned . SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an easement in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind and character of utility lines including water, gas, electric, telephone and power lines, sanitary and storm sewers and drainage ditches; no structures shall be built on said easement.
