AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-22 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, AUTHORIZING PUBLIC DANCES
ON THOSE SUNDAYS ON WHICH CHRISTMAS EVE
AND NEW YEAR' S EVE OCCUR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 25-22 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended
so that it shall read as follows:
"Section 25-22 . Closing times.
All public dances shall be discontinued and all public
dance halls shall be closed from 1:00 a.m. to 7: 30 p.m. on
each day except Sundays; all public dances shall be discontin-
ued and all public dance halls shall be closed from 1:00 a.m.
Sunday to 7: 30 p.m. on the Monday following, except those
Sundays on which Christmas Eve and New Year' s Eve occur, on
which occasions public dances may continue and public dance
halls may be opened from 7: 30 p.m. on Sunday evening until
1:00 a.m. on the Monday following. "
