AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING
AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES,
STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION OF THE 1973 RECONSTRUCTION
PAVING PROGRAM, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PREPARED BY CITY ENGINEER, AND DIRECTING THE ADVERTISING
FOR BIDS, AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT
THERETO,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved, to-wit:
ALLEN ROAD: From south property line of
Circle Drive to south property
line of Seymour. Highway (U.S.Hwy
No. 82 and 277).
CIRCLE DRIVE: From west property line of Winann
Street to cast property line of
Allen Road.
PUCKETT ROAD: From 5' west of east property line
of Hooper Drive to west property
line Burkburnett Hwy. (U.S.Hwy 277
and 281).
SUNSET DRIVE: Frpm north property line of Fifth
Street to 163' north of north prop-
erty line of Third Street.
THIRTY-FIFTH STREET: From east property line Grace Street
to west curb line of Old Jacksboro
Hwy. (U.S.Hwy 281) .
WINANN STREET: From 122' north of north property
line of Old Seymour Road to north
property line of Circle Drive.
SISK ROAD: From the south property line of
Seymour Highway (U.S. Hwy. No.82
and 277) to the north property line
of F.M. Hwy. No. 369.
II.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets
and public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.

III.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive bids
for the making and constructing of said improvements.
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately
from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
ALLEN ROAD: From south property line of Circle
Drive to south property line of
Seymour Highway (U.S. Hwy. No. 82
and 277).
CIRCLE DRIVE: From west property line of Winann
Street to east property line of
Allen Road.
