ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES , TO ALLOW SALE FOR COMSUMP- -
TION ON THE PREMISES WHERE SOLD OF VINOUS
AND MALT LIQUORS AND BEER IN CERTAIN
LICENSED DANCE HALLS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita
Falls is amended by adding thereto a new Section 4-25, which
shall read as follows:
" Section 4-25. Sales in Dance Halls .
The sale for consumption on the premises where sold of vinous
and malt liquors and beer, containing not more than 14% of alcohol
by volume, is authorized in any premises on which there is a
current valid dance hall license issued by the City, if such
premises are located on a tract abutting on any of the streets
named in Section 4-18 above, and if one main wall of such premises
is located no more than 200 feet from the right-of-way line of
such street."
