ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN AIRPORT
SECURITY FORCE AT WICHITA FALLS
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
By authority of House Bill No. 82, enacted by the 63rd
Legislature (Article 46g, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas) ,
there is hereby established an airport security force at
Wichita Falls Municipal Airport, for the purpose of providing
the law enforcement officer duties required by Federal Aviation
Regulation 107, as amended on December 6, 1972 . The City Mana-
ger is hereby authorized and directed to employ and commission
as peace officers such members of said airport security force
as are necessary to comply with the requirements of said Federal
Aviation Regulation 107.
Any such peace officer commissioned under this ordinance
shall be vested with all the rights, privileges, obligations
and duties set out in said House Bill No. 82.
