RESOLUTION NO. 82-2014
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply for and accept
funding through a Bus and Bus Facilities Program Grant from the
Federal Transit Administration for the purchase of two low -floor
transit buses
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has identified the need for the replacement
of two of its transit buses; and
WHEREAS, funding for this project may be available from Bus and Bus Facilities
Program funding through the Federal Transit Administration through grant recoveries
from the Section 5309 program .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to
pursue, apply for, and accept a Bus and Bus Facilities Program grant from the Federal
Transit Administration for the purchase of two 35-foot, low-floor transit buses.
