AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-114 OF THE
TRAFFIC ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING NO PARKING ZONES ON
CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (c) of Section 29-114 of the Traffic Ordinance of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby amended by adding
to the schedule in such section the following:
Street From To Side
"Piedmont Place Kemp Sherwood Lane North
Old Jacksboro Highway 1400 feet south of 2600 Feet south
(Business U. S. 281) Rathgeber Road of Rathbeger Road West"
SECTION 2. The fact that many people live within the City of Wichita
Falls and that there is an urgent need for protection of its citizens and their
property upon the city's roads and streets, this ordinance is declared an emer-
gency measure on the grounds of urgent public need for the preservation of the
peace, and safety of property of the city. This ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage
