AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE ORDERING
AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF AVENUES,
STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS A PORTION OF THE 1974 RECONSTRUCTION
PAVING PROGRAM, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PREPARED BY CITY ENGINEER, AND DIRECTING THE ADVERTISING
FOR BIDS, AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT
THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:

It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved, to-wit:
AVENUE H: From 151.5' east of east
property line of Kemp Blvd.
to west property line of
Fillmore Street.
AVENUE H: From east property line of
Fillmore Street to west property
line of Taylor Street.
GRACE STREET: From the north property line of
Twelfth Street to 175 feet north.
P.B. LANE: From west property line of Gorman
Road to west property line of
Jacksboro Highway.
ROWLAND ROAD: From the east property line of
Perigo Street to west property
line of Windthorst Road.
WEEKS ACCESS From east property line of Taft
ROAD: Blvd. to west property line of
Weeks Park.
II.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets
and public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
III.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive
bids for the making and constructing of said improvements.
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immedi-
ately from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
AVENUE H: From 151.5' east of east
property line of Kemp Blvd.
to west property line of
Fillmore Street.

Fillmore Street to west property
line of Taylor Street.
