RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR CONCESSION OPERATION AT BRIDWELL PARK.
WHEREAS, in February, 1979 the City advertised for bids
for the concession operation at Bridwell Park, and no bids
were received; and,
WHEREAS, the Young Women' s Christian Association has offered
to pay the City 10 per cent of the gross sales for the right toPYYP9g
operate the concession stand in Bridwell Park, and it is found
that this is a reasonable bid for such concession rights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such bid of the Young Women' s Christian Association is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract with the Young Women' s Christian Association for
concession rights at Bridwell Park during the 1979 season.
