RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR CONCESSION OPERATIONS AT SPUDDER PARK.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were taken for concession operations
at Spudder Park; and,
WHEREAS , the bid of Joe M. Chavez of 20 per cent of gross
sales for such concession rights was the only bid received, but
this bid is found to be a fair and reasonable bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such bid of Joe M. Chavez for concession rights at Spudder
Park is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract with him for concession rights at such park
during the 1979 season.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 20th day of February, 1979.
