Res 2222 9/19/1978RESOLUTION NO. jj0/,/aZI A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ATTACHED CHANGE ORDER AS ADDENDUM TO THE MARTIN LUTHER KING MULTI- PURPOSE CENTER. WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Meyers Bros. , Inc. , entered into a contract dated October 26, 1977 for the con- struction of the Eastside Neighborhood Service Center; and, WHEREAS, on August 1, 1978 , final payment to the contractor was approved contingent upon the City Manager' s acceptance of the building; and, WHEREAS, the exterior brick used on the building is unusually porous; and, WHEREAS, the architect and the contractor have suggested the installation of gutters and downspouts to the building to keep water off the walls as much as possible. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The attached change order as addendum be approved.
