AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION
FROM THE REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND TO
PROJECT NUMBERS LISTED BELOW, AND STATING
THE INTENTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN TO
MAKE CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS FROM FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING FUNDS IN FUTURE FISCAL
YEARS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the Revenue
Sharing Trust Fund the sum of $1, 061, 800. 00, which shall be
placed in the following project numbers:

2. Wichita Falls General 902 50, 000. 00
Hospital
3 . Downtown Renovation and 931 25, 000. 00
Improvements
4. Meals on Wheels Program 932 18 , 000. 00
5. Senior Citizens Center 933 200, 000. 00
6. Kell Right-of-Way 379 750, 000. 00
TOTAL $1, 061, 800. 00
SECTION 2. It is also the intention of the Board of
Aldermen to appropriate from Federal Revenue Sharing Funds in
one or in several of the fiscal years 1974 - 1975, 1975 - 1976
and 1976 - 1977 the following sums for the stated projects:
1. Wichita Falls General $75, 000. 00
Hospital
2 . Downtown Renovation and 115, 000. 00
Improvements
3 . Kell Right-of-Way 750, 000. 00
4 . Bicentennial Commission 20, 000. 00
Activities
TOTAL $960, 000. 00
SECTION 3. The fact that some of these amounts are essen-
tial for the immediate use of the City or of the agencies and
people involved creates an emergency, and this ordinance is de-

diately upon its passage.
