AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF TEXAS AVENUE AND THE
ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 32 AND 33 OF THE JOSEPH A. KEMP ADDITION -)
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close a portion of Texas Avenue
and to close the alleys in Blocks 32 and 33 of the Joseph A. Kemp Addition herein
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That portion of Texas Avenue lying between the south right-
of-way line of East Scott Avenue and the north right-of-way line of San Antonio
Street and the twenty feet wide east-west alleys in Blocks 32 and 33 of the Joseph
A. Kemp Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, be and the same are hereby closed
and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas reserves an easement in
the land contained in said closed street and alleys for the purpose of laying and
maintaining all kind and character of utility lines including water, gas, electric,
telephone and power lines, sanitary and storm sewers and drainage ditches; no struc-
tures shall be built on such easements. �y
