ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (b) OF
SECTION 2-98 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
LIMITING FARES CHARGED ELDERLY PERSONS
DURING NONPEAK HOURS BY THE PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Subsection (b) of Section 2-98 of the Code of Ordi-
nances is hereby amended by adding a new paragraph (4) , which
shall read as follows:
" (4) The fares charged elderly persons
during nonpeak hours shall be $. 15 basic
fare and $. 05 charge for additional zones;
the hours constituting 'nonpeak hours'
shall be established by the Director of
Traffic. 'Elderly persons' shall mean all
persons over 65 years of age. "
