AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND RELEASING A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT
IN THE 0. H. P. DAVIS SURVEY A-65, WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems
it advisable and in the public interest to permanently abandon and release a portion
of an easement herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A portion of the easement located in the 0. H. P. Davis Survey,
A-65, Wichita County, Texas conveyed by Louis Sikes to the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, as recorded in Volume 437, Page 204 of the Wichita County Deed Records, said
portion being more specifically described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod, said point bears N 35° 27' 42" E 248.01 feet
and S 89 33' E 462.7 feet from the southwest corner of said O. H. P.
Davis Survey;
THENCE N 89° 33' W 6.35 feet to a point in the center line of an existing
48" raw water line, said point also being in the center line of the above
mentioned easement, said point being at Station 201+84.52 of the 48" raw
water line;
THENCE S 63° 18' west 322.98 feet along said center line of the 48" raw
water line and center line of said easement to a point on said center line
for the ending place of this easement, said point being at Station 205+
07.50 of the 48" raw water line.
be and the same is hereby permanently abandoned and released.
