ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (4) OF SUB-
SECTION (b) OF SECTION 2-98 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES LIMITING FARES CHARGED
ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED PERSONS DURING
NONPEAK HOURS BY THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTA-
TION DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Paragraph (4) of Subsection (b) of Section 2-98 of
the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows:
" (4) The fares charged elderly and handicapped
persons during nonpeak hours shall be $. 15 basic fare and
$.05 charge for additional zones ; the hours constituting
'nonpeak hours ' shall be established by the Director of
Traffic. 'Elderly persons ' shall mean all persons over
65 years of age. 'Handicapped persons ' shall mean all
persons with a physical or mental disorder who have been
certified by a medical doctor, psychologist or psychia-
trist as handicapped. "
