AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED
AS THE 1975 ASSESSMENT PAVING PROGRAM, APPROVING
THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY THE CITY
ENGINEER, AND DIRECTING THE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS,
AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERE-
TO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
NOW, THEREFORE ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues , streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved , to-wit:
AVENUE F: From the east property line of
Garfield Street to 150 feet east
of the east property line of
hayes Street.
ARTHUR STREET From the south property line of
AND AVENUE E: 10th Street to the west property
line of Garfield Street.
ARIZONA AVENUE : From the west property line of Arthur
Street to the west property line of
Kemp Boulevard.
BLUFF STREET: From the north property line of
Midwestern Parkway to the south
• property line of 36th. Street.
BLUFF STREET: Adjacent to lots 23 24, of
Block 9, of the Sibley-Taylor
Addition.
STREET: From tlio north property line of
Jefferson Street to the south
property line of Madison Street.
BROAD STREET: From 50 feet south of the south
property line of Fourth Street to
the south property line of Third
Street.
BURNETT STREET: From the north property line of
Central Freeway East Service Road
to the south property line of 20th
Street.
CONCORD ROAD: From the north property line of
Pasadena Avenue to the south property
line of Coronado Avenue.
DENZIL STREET: From the south property line of 25th
Street south 367 feet.

STREET; Adjacent to lots 17, 18, & 19
of Block 2 and lots 8, 9, & 10
of Block 3 of the Ed Wilson Addn.
II.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets
and public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
III.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive bids
for the making and constructing of said improvements.
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immedi-
ately from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas,
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
