ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DESIGNATED
AS THE 1975 RECONSTRUCTION PAVING PROGRAM, APPROV-
ING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY CITY
ENGINEER, AND DIRECTING THE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS
AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERE-
TO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following
portions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas be improved, to-wit:
ORIOLE STREET: From the North property line
of Eastside Drive to the South
property line of Trout Street.
THIRTY-FOURTH From the west property line
STREET: of the Old Jacksboro Highway
west 732 feet.
ROWLAND ROAD: From the East property line
of Perigo Street to the west
property line of Old Windthorst
Road.
II.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvment of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets
and public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
III.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive
bids for the making and constructing of said improvements .
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately
from and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 6th DAY OF May 1975.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
ORIOLE STREET: From the North property line
of Eastside Drive to the South
property line of Trout Street.
THIRTY-FOURTH From the west property line
STREET: of the Old Jacksboro Highway
west 732 feet.
ROWLAND ROAD: From the East property line of
Perigo Street to the west prop-
erty line of Old Windthorst
Road.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the City of Wichit Falls, has caused this instrument
to be executed in its behalf and signed by its Mayor, this the
