ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24-21 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO CORRECT AN ERROR
IN THE NUMBER OF POSITIONS IN THE CLASSI-
FICATION POLICE OFFICER.
WHEREAS by the adoption of Ordinance No. 2957 , the
Board of Aldermen increased the number of positions in the
civil service classification Police Officer by three (3) ,
stating that the number of positions in such classification
was increased from 85 to 88; and,
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of such ordinance,
there were in fact 88 positions in the classification Police
Officer, but the Code of Ordinances erroneously showed the
number to be 85.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER-
MEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
In order to correct this error in the Code of Ordinances,
Section 24-21 of such code of the City of Wichita Falls is
hereby amended to show the number of positions in the classi-
fication Police Officer to be 91.
