AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES, STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , DESIGNATED
AS THE 1975 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT PAV-
ING PROGRAM, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PREPARED BY THE CITY ENGINEER, AND DIRECTING THE
ADVERTISING FOR BIDS, AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER
MATTERS INCIDENT THERETO.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
is of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues, streets
and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas should be improved ;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
I.
It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following por-
tions of avenues, streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
be improved, to-wit:
BAYLOR AVENUE: From the north property line of
Seventh Street to the south prop-
erty line of Sixth Street.
BRIDWELL STREET: From the north property line of
Collins Avenue to the south prop-
erty line of Elizabeth Avenue.
CORWIN STREET: From the north property line of
Washington Street to the south prop-
erty line of Jefferson Street.
DENISON STREET: From the north property line of East
Scott Street to the south property
line of Jalonick Street.
ELIZABETH AVENUE: From the east property line of Grace
Street east 245 feet to the east prop-
erty line of an alley.
FIFTH STREET: From the east property line of Farris
Street to the west property line of
Patterson Street.
FOURTH STREET: From the east property line of East-
side Drive to the west property line
of Patterson Street.
GRACE STREET: From the north property line of
Fifteenth Street North 177 feet
GRACE STREET: From the north property line of 14th St.
to the south property line of 13th St.
LINWOOD AVENUE: From 140 feet south of the south property
line of North Sixth Street to the south
property line of North Tenth Street.

SCOTLAND DRIVE: From the east right-of-way line
of Central Freeway to the east
property line of North Broadway.
SIXTH STREET: From the east property line of
Farris Street to the west property
line of Patterson Street.
STRATFORD AVENUE: From the south property line of
North Eighth Street to 150 feet
south
TYLER STREET: From the north property line of
Ninth Street to the south property
line of Roberts Avenue.
WACO STREET: From the east property line of
South Rosewood Street to the
west property line of Edwards
Avenue.
II.
The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues, streets
and public places, and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board
of Aldermen for approval and adoption; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets.
III.
The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise for competitive bids
for the making and constructing of said improvements.
IV.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immedi-
ately from and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that
the following streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas
be improved and that a portion of the cost of such improvements is to be
specially assessed as a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and said
portions of streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas as follows:
