AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (a) SECTION 29-148 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, DELETING CERTAIN PARKING METER ZONES, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (a) of Section 29-148 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Wichita Falls is hereby amended so that the Ohio Street zone in the schedule in
such section shall read as follows:

SECTION 2. The fact that many people live within the City of Wichita Falls and
that there is an urgent need for protection of its citizens and their property upon the
city's roads and streets, this ordinance is declared an emergency measure on the
ground of urgent public need for the orderly flow of traffic upon its roads and streets
and a public need for the preservation of the peace, health, and safety of property of the
city. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
