AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO ACCOUNT NO. 11-091-4520 , AND
APPROVING SETTLEMENT OF WILSON SUIT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund the
sum of $7 ,500. 00 which will be placed in Account No. 11-091-4520,
for payment in settlement of Cause No. 97,067-B in the 78th
District Court of Wichita County, Jo Ellen Wilson and husband
vs. City of Wichita Falls, et al, which settlement is hereby
approved.
The fact that this amount is due and is essential for the
immediate use of the City creates an emergency, and this ordi-
nance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
