RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER AND FINAL
ESTIMATE AND ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER
EXTENSIONS AT KIWANIS PARK.
WHEREAS, on May 4, 1979, the City of Wichita Falls and
Bowles Construction Co. , as contractor, entered into a contract,
wherein said contractor agreed to construct certain water
extensions for mobile home group sites at Kiwanis Park; and,
WHEREAS, said construction has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and the final estimate have
been submitted on this project, which final estimate shows a
total amount of work done as $68 , 498. 63, of which $64,488. 60
has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance of $4, 010. 03.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of water extensions for mobile home
group sites at Kiwanis Park is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, Change Order No. 1 and the final estimate are
approved, and the City Manager is directed to pay to the said
contractor the amount due as shown on such estimate.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 31st day of July, 1979.
