RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A RELEASE OF VENDOR'S LIEN ON PROPERTY AT 1800
ROSE STREET.
WHEREAS, under date of May 24, 1973 , the City of Wichita
Falls and Wichita County executed a deed to Community Mental
Health/Retardation Center of Wichita Falls covering the
following land in Wichita County, Texas, to-wit:
Lots 1,2, 3,4 ,21,22,23 and 24, Block 2, Grant ' s
Subdivision of Bellevue Addition to the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas.
WHEREAS, the City and County reserved a vendor' s lien
to secure the payment of a promissory note in the amount of
24,200; and,
WHEREAS, on February 7, 1978 , the Board of Aldermen
voted to forgive the debt owed by said Community Center
to the City for the City' s share of the unpaid purchase
price.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
release of the above described vendor' s lien on the above
described property.
