RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT AND ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION
OF THE EXPANSION OF THE KITCHEN FACILITIES AT THE SENIOR CITIZENS
CENTER, LOCATED AT 1008 BURNETT STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Meyers Brothers, Inc. , as
contractor, entered into a contract dated March 28, 1980, wherein said contractor
agreed to construct an addition to the kitchen facilities at the Senior Citizens
Center; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of such addition has been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the total contract price was $41,360, of which $36,797 has
been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $4,563.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such addition is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is directed to pay to the said contractor the balance
due as shown above.
