RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR LEVI STRAUSS
FOUNDATION GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City is developing the Wood Memorial Park
with the assistance of local citizens and support of
local industry; and,
WHEREAS , the Levi Strauss Foundation has a grant program,
from which a grant is available to worthwile projects;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
An application for such a Levi Strauss Foundation Grant
is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized and
directed to complete and file the application for such grant.
The City Manager is further authorized to execute any nec-
essary documents to carry out and complete such grant, includ-
ing the grant agreement.
