RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT
TO J & J CONTRACTING FOR SPRAY POOL AT WEEKS
PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids
for the construction of a spray pool at Weeks Park; and,
WHEREAS , only one bid was received, that being the
bid of J & J Contracting, which bid is found to be fair and
reasonable, and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of J & J Contracting in the amount of $4,745 for
the construction of a spray pool at Weeks Park is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with such contractor for the construction of such
spray pool.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of April, 1980.
