RESOLUTION NO. A/7
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH RICHARD MYCUE & ASSOCIATES
FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A
GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE DEPOT SQUARE HISTORIC
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS,the City of Wichita Falls, through its Design Review Commis-
sion, encourages the redevelopment and revitalization of the City through the
restoration of historical landmarks and districts within the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Consultant Selection Committee has recommended that a
professional services contract be executed with Richard Mycue & Associates for
technical assistance in the development of a General Development Plan for the
Depot Square Historic District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
professional contract in an amount not to exceed fifty-five thousand dollars
55,000) with Richard Mycue & Associates for the rendering of professional
services in connection with the development of a General Development Plan for
the Depot Square Historic District contingent upon:
a) Final approval of a grant award from the Texas Historical Commis-
sion in the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) ; and,
b) The proposed contract being approved by the Texas Historical
Commission.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to request any additional
information and material that may be required in connection with the development
of the General Development Plan. y
