RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE LINCOLN HEIGHTS
DRAINAGE PROJECT OF THE 1980 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls had advertised for bids
for the construction of the Lincoln Heights Drainage Project of the
1980 Capital Improvement Program; and,
WHEREAS, three bids were received, and it is found that the
bid of Duke Concrete Construction Company in the amount of $206,835.70
was the best bid received, and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of Duke Concrete Construction Company in the amount
of $206,835.70 is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract with Duke Concrete Construction Company for the
construction of such improvements.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 4th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1980.
