RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION
HELD IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ON AUGUST
9, 1980.
WHEREAS, at a called meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the
City of Wichita Falls , Texas on the 12th day of August, 1980
came on to be considered the returns of the special election held
on the 9th day of August, 1980; and,
WHEREAS, after canvassing the returns of said election, it
was found to be duly and legally held in all respects, and that
voters voted in said election; and that the
following numbers of votes were cast for and against the follow-
ing proposition:
Resolution No. 2529, Which Provided for Technical Evaluation
of Wichita Falls Landfill Site C Located Southwest of the
City of Wichita Falls on Parker Ranch Road.

Against 2ferf votes
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said election was in all respects legally held in accordance
with the laws of the State of Texas and the charter and ordinances
of the City of Wichita Falls; and that Resolution No. 2529 was
not approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 12th day of August, 1980.
